Grand Canyon’s volleyball team fell to 0-8 after dropping four matches at the Rockhurst University Classic near Kansas City Friday and Saturday.

Hitter Dana Edington was named to the all-tournament team.

She had 15 kills in a loss to No. 22 Rockhurst. She has 90 kills this season.

Senior Ashley Bright is nearing a milestone. She needs seven blocks to rank seventh all-time at GCU. Her 24 this season give her a career total of 252, which is six shy of Lyanna Nakoa’s 258 racked up in 1992-93.

Grand Canyon gets a breather in its schedule as meets up with Embry Riddle next Saturday in Prescott.
