Grand Canyon men's soccer team added three players who have already enrolled at GCU this semester, coach Petar Draksin announced Monday.
Freshman Charlie Sales, a 6-2 midfielder from Tucson Sabino, played his first season at NCAA Division III Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio. He scored three goals and had two assists as Heidelberg went 10-9 in 2007.
"I'm really excited to get back to fast-pace soccer," Sales said. "I like how diverse (GCU's team) is. I really like the facility a lot. The field is real nice. Coach Drak is really helpful."
