GCU signs Desert West champ

Grand Canyon men's cross country team signed Paul Chagolla to run this fall. 

Chagolla was the Desert West Region champion out of Peoria Sunrise Mountain High School.

"He is going to be a huge asset to the GCU men's cross country program," Antelopes coach Kim Sims said.

Grand Canyon opens the season Sept. 6 at the George Kyte Classic at Northern Arizona University.
