FRESNO, Calif. -- Grand Canyon newcomers junior Artem Tretiakov (Donetsk, Ukraine/Donetsk National University) and freshman Matt Muchna (pictured, Prescott, Ariz./Home School) set new school marks at the Fresno Pacific PCSC Relays and Pentathlon Friday and Saturday.

Tretiakov set a meet record and had an NCAA "B" Cut time with a 46.42 swim in the 100 Freestyle. Muchna set a new school record in the 100 IM (56.96).

Three swimmers placed in the top 10 in Saturday's Pentathlon.

Johann Ivarsson (Sundsvall, Sweden/Sundsvall) was fourth in the Men's Freestyle Pentathlon. Tretiakov was sixth. Charles Woodruff (Phoenix, Ariz./Central) was eighth in the Men's Sprint Medley Pentathlon.
