Grand Canyon University juniors Charles Woodruff (Phoenix, Ariz./Central) and Artem Tretiakov (pictured, Donetsk, Ukraine/Donetsk National University) were named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Preseason All-Conference Team, released by the RMAC Thursday.
Woodruff is a former RMAC champion and school record holder in seven events.
Tretiakov is part of an impressive recruiting class that gives GCU high hopes of finishing better than preseason predictions.
GCU was picked to finish fourth in the conference this season. Incarnate Word, with four first-place votes, was picked to win the league, followed by Colorado School of Mines, Texas-Permian Basin, GCU and Mesa State. GCU, Incarnate Word and Texas-Permian Basin are all associate members of the RMAC.
