Grand Canyon University athletics will be featured on local television and radio Thursday.
Athletics Director Keith Baker will be a guest on the Pat McMahon Show to air at 9 a.m. on AZTV7/Cable 13. McMahon was voted Phoenix's "Best Local TV Personality" for 2009 by AZCentral.com's Critic's Choice.
At 11:25 a.m. on the weekly "Grand Canyon University Sports Report" on AM-1060 "The Fan", GCU head men's soccer coach Petar Draksin (pictured) will be welcomed by popular and personable host Kevin McCabe, a Phoenix sports TV and Radio staple for 20 years.
Draksin will preview the 2009 season, which gets underway Saturday against No. 1 ranked CSU Dominguez Hills.
