 About the GCU Antelope Club
Grand Canyon University has a long and rich
tradition of athletic success and that is why the
GCU Athletic Department is introducing the new GCU
Antelope Club. The Antelope Club will be a part of
the
already existing GCU Alumni Association which provides
scholarship opportunities for students wishing to
attend
Grand Canyon University. The mission of the Antelope
Club
is to generate revenue specifically for athletic
scholarships. Your contribution will
provide critical support that we need
if we are to reach our goal. That goal is to not
only compete
for and win national championships, but to provide
the best
educational opportunities for our student–athletes.
With
your generous support, we can reach our goals!
Our
desire is to adhere to our athletics mission statement,
which states, “We expect our student–athletes
to pursue excellence on the courts and playing fields,
in the
classroom, and in our community. Students who choose
to
participate in our athletic programs are challenged
to lead
lives committed to health, discipline, perseverance,
and
stewardship. We expect our student–athletes,
coaches and
staff to emulate Christ in all aspects of their lives
including
their academic and athletic endeavors.”
